Avoid using any exfoliating products or treatments for 5 days before your appointment.
After Dermaplaning, it's important to keep your skin hydrated and protected from the sun. Use a gentle moisturiser and apply sunscreen daily to maintain the results. Your therapist will advise you of what you need to do at home after your treatment to mainain your results.
Yes, all skin types can benefit from Dermaplaning. However, it should be avoided on active acne or breakouts. Clients with melanin-rich skin tones should pre-treat their skin 2 weeks prior with brightening products to reduce the risk of post-inflammatory hyperpigmentation (PIH).
Dermaplaning is typically performed every 3 - 6 weeks. Your therapist will advise what it best for you based on your skin type.
An exfoliant is included during your treatment. We advise to not further exfoliate after your treatment for a further 7 days.
