Every spray tan we carry out is guaranteed, so long as you follow our pre-care advice below.

We offer two types of Spray Tan:

• Express Tan - wash off after 3 hours, and your tan continues to develop, perfect for when you're short on time.
• Classic Tan - Develops in 6 - 8 hours, or leave it on overnight for the best results.

On your first visit, you'll have a consultation with your Spray Tan Technician to help determine the best type of spray tan for your skin type.

All you need to do is select one of the 'FirstTime' spray tan options if you're booking your first spray tan online.

To get the best results from your spray tan, you must follow our pre-care instructions before your visit.

When you arrive for your appointment, your Spray Tan Technician will carry out a consultation with you to help you choose the most natural, flawless and healthy-looking tan for your skin type.

You will achieve the same results whether you opt for an express or classic tan.

Express Tans let you choose how dark you want to go by how long you leave it until you shower.

The formulation contains fast-acting ingredients that absorb quickly into the skin while intelligent shade technology allows you to select your depth of colour:

• For a light, sunless tan shower after 1 hour.
• For a medium sunless tan leave on for 2 hours.
• For a dark sunless tan leave on for 3 hours

After showering your skin is left smooth and silky.
You will have a light colour and the self-tan actives will continue to work, developing and deepening into your chosen tan. Formulated with skin conditioning agents and vegetan premium, a naturally derived DHA with melanin technology.

What should I do for the best results?

Your spray tan will last much longer if you prepare your skin before your appointment.

If you don't prepare your skin then it's very likely you'll get a spray tan which is patchy, uneven and won't last long at all!

How to get your skin ready for the Ultimate Tan

You can find everything you need to prepare for your spray tan for sale at our salon.

Moisturising daily before your spray tan will prevent dryness and provide the perfect tanning base.

Use an exfoliating mitt to apply our oil-free salt Body Scrub (£14.99) in the shower or bath to remove dead skin cells and smooth your skin in preparation for your Spray Tan.

Our Body Scrub contains anti-oxidant vitamin E which helps to hydrate and nourish your skin and improve its condition so your Spray Tan will last longer on the skin's surface.

How to exfoliate

• Put some exfoliator onto your glove and exfoliate using firm circular and even strokes
• Make sure you cover the entire skin surface so you don’t get patchy uneven results from your Spray Tan
• Concentrate on the problem areas such as knees, elbows and any other areas where you have rough skin

The skins top layer (and therefore your spray tan) only lasts between 6 – 10 days due to the natural turnover of cells.

Using our salt body scrub with an exfoliating glove ensures your skin cells are all at the beginning of their cycle before your Spray Tan, so your tan will last longer.

Otherwise, your skin cells will start falling off within a few days, leaving you with a patchy spray tan

Hair Removal

Remember to shave or wax at least 24hrs prior to your appointment

On the day of your Spray Tan

Do not wear any of the following as they can create a barrier:

• Moisturiser
• Make-up
• Deodorant
• Perfume

Bring loose dark clothing and flip flops to wear immediately after your spray tan.

Tie up your hair if you can and remove any jewellery.

If you put on tight items of footwear/clothing, socks, trainers, boots, or belts after your spray tan we will not be able to guarantee your spray tan as these may cause your tan to rub off.

Please remember to bring an umbrella it's raining!

After your Spray Tan application

You can wear bronzing/loose powder / Mineral Makeup, mascara, and lipstick.

DO NOT apply moisturiser or liquid make up.

DO NOT wash your hands for the first 2-3 hours to avoid watermarks on the wrists.

If you’ve had a classic Spray Tan, please do not wash this off for a minimum of 6-8 hours. For optimum results, leave on the skin overnight.

If you've had a 3-hour Express Tan, your tan will begin to develop immediately after your treatment and can be washed off after 3 hours. After washing off your express tan you will have a light colour. The tan will continue to work, developing and deepening into your chosen tan after you have washed off your tan.

We recommend wearing loose pyjamas in bed so your hands do not rest on your skin whilst you are asleep.

Your spray tan contains a cosmetic bronzer and this will wash off during showering this is usual and does not affect the end results of your spray tan.

After your shower, pat the skin dry with your towel - do not rub!

Your Spray Tan will always look best when the skin is hydrated

To maximise how long your tan lasts, after a few days we recommend to the daily use of our Norvell Ultra-Vivid Boost maintainer whilst the skin is damp.

Our daily gradual tanning moisturiser reduces tan breakups and improves the way it fades, and will leave your skin feeling soft & smooth.

Vitamin E conditions the skin while, matrixyl Synthe 6 combats anti-ageing.

A few Points to Note

DO NOT exfoliate again for at least 5 days post your spray tan or until the day before your next application.

You can have as many applications as you wish if you desire a darker result. It is recommended you wait 24-48 hours between applications.

DO NOT take part in any exercise or activities whilst your spray tan is developing. You can resume your normal activities once the bronzer has been removed in the shower.

DO NOT swim whilst your spray tan is developing. Wait until you have showered off the bronzers. Chlorine and salt will fade your spray tan faster, as this has a bleaching effect on the skin.

Spray Tans contains NO sunscreens and you must protect yourself in the sun in the normal way.
