Are you a talented Beauty Therapist ready for an exciting new opportunity?

We're looking for an experienced Beauty Therapist who can work a mix of Saturdays (8:45am - 7pm) and Sundays (9:45am - 7pm). In addition, we require availability for weekday evening shifts from 5pm - 9:30pm. We're open to discussing which evenings work best for you. There will also be opportunities for additional hours during school holidays.

Our salon boasts three dedicated treatment rooms, two pedicure areas, a specialised spray tan room, three nail bars, and three sun beds.
Since our waxing and gel nail services are always in high demand, you'll need a genuine love for providing these particular treatments.

Availability and Flexibility
In an effort to accommodate our client's schedules, our team operates seven days a week during the summer months and six days throughout the winter season. Furthermore, our salon remains open until 9pm on weekdays.

What will you be doing?

- Providing an exceptional standard of beauty treatments to meet client expectations.
- Ensuring client satisfaction by delivering the highest quality of service and experience.
- Maintaining a friendly and supportive demeanour, contributing positively to the team environment.
- Effectively managing client bookings and payments via our Phorest salon system.
- Upholding an impeccable level of cleanliness throughout the salon premises.
- Diligently working towards both individual and monthly salon performance targets.
- Communicating product information accurately to fulfil client needs.

Skills & experience required

Must-Haves:

- NVQ Level 3 in Beauty Therapy
- At least 2 years experience in the industry
- Skilled in high-quality and efficient gel nails
- Proficient in delivering Hollywood & Brazilian waxing using hot wax, that's both high-quality and time-efficient.

Nice-to-Haves (But Not Deal Breakers!)

- Familiarity with Phorest, our salon software
- Skills in spray tanning, threading, and various lash techniques like LVL, Russian, and individual lashes are a plus!
- Indian head massage or pregnancy massage
- Experience in performing Dermalogica treatments.

Copies of certificates & two references are required

Hours

We are actively seeking an additional Beauty Therapist to join our professional team on a casual employment contract, which has the potential to transition to full-time employment in the future.

Available Shifts:

We're looking for someone to work a mix of Saturdays (8:45am - 7:00pm) and Sundays (9:45am - 7pm).

Additionally, availability for weekday evening shifts from 5pm - 9:30 pm is needed. We can discuss a schedule that fits your availability.

Salon Opening Hours:

Monday to Friday: 9:00am to 9:00pm
Saturday: 9:00am to 6:30pm
During the summer season, Sunday: 10:00am to 6:30pm

Closing Procedures: All team members contribute to the end-of-day cleaning tasks and can expect to conclude their duties no later than 30 minutes following the salon's closing time.

Career Progression: This role presents an excellent opportunity for those looking to transition into permanent employment. As you build your clientele, additional working hours may become available should you desire them.
